hornetforms.com sets no cookies. That is why you don't see a cookie banner here.
- Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies, without cross-site tracking and without fingerprinting you for advertising.
- Local storage: your browser's local storage (not a cookie) remembers if you closed the announcement bar. If you open the demo or waitlist form, the embedded HornetForms form script may also use browser storage, only so that the form works.
- Site editors: people at PhraseMine who sign in to the content editor at
/keystaticreceive strictly necessary session cookies. Visitors never get them.
The HornetForms app: forms.hornetforms.com#
The app uses only strictly necessary cookies:
- Sign-in session cookies that keep account holders signed in.
- A time-zone preference cookie in the dashboard, so dates in your response summaries show in your time zone.
On public forms, respondents get no cookies from us. The form may use browser storage (local or session storage) to make features work: saving progress so you can resume later, unlocking a password-protected form for the current tab, remembering that you already responded when the form owner allows one response per browser, and remembering your choice in a consent banner.
Forms with spam protection switched on load Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks browser signals to tell people from bots.
Tracking tools added by form owners#
Form owners can add Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager or the Meta Pixel to their own full-page forms (never to embedded forms). These tools can set their own cookies and are covered by the form owner's privacy notice, not ours.
Form owners can switch on a consent banner, so that nothing loads until the respondent accepts. If they don't, these tools load as soon as the form opens, and the form owner is responsible for getting any consent the law requires. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, these tools never load.
