A Typeform alternative with no response limits
Typeform made forms feel like a conversation, then priced them by the response. HornetForms gives you unlimited responses on every plan, Free included, and brings your Typeform forms with you.

Import your Typeform forms
Paste a public Typeform link and see it rebuilt as a HornetForms form before you sign up. Questions, pages and choices come across; anything that can't (logic rules, images) is flagged in the preview, so nothing goes missing quietly. Free on every plan.
Why people move from Typeform
Typeform is polished and well known, and its one-question-at-a-time style is genuinely nice to fill in. The catch is the meter: every self-serve Typeform plan comes with a monthly response allowance, so a form that takes off pushes you up a plan. HornetForms doesn't count responses at all.
- Unlimited forms and responses within fair use, on every plan, Free included
- Conditional logic, piping, calculations and endings, free
- File uploads and signatures on the Free plan
- Google Sheets, Slack, Discord, Notion and Zapier, free
- Badge removal, logo and custom CSS on Pro
- One subscription per account, unlimited teammates on Pro and Business

Notes
- Microsoft's limits are per form and depend on the account type. Typeform and Jotform count responses per month across all your forms. HornetForms and Tally both have a fair use policy.
- US dollars as shown on each pricing page, before tax. HornetForms' yearly prices are totals for the year.
- Respondents never sign in to upload a file to a HornetForms form.
Where the numbers come from

Everything in the HornetForms column is a feature you can use today, on the plan named. Competitor prices and limits come from their own pricing and help pages, linked above, on the date shown; they change, so check them before you decide. Where we couldn't confirm something on their site, we say so instead of guessing. Typeform, Jotform, Google Forms, Microsoft Forms and Tally are trademarks of their respective owners; HornetForms is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.
Pricing that doesn't count responses
Typeform's plans are priced by how many responses you collect each month, and higher plans add more responses, seats and features. If a form takes off, or you simply run a lot of surveys, the response allowance is what pushes the bill up. HornetForms charges for features, not volume. Every plan has unlimited forms and responses. Pro adds branding control, translations, partial responses and a custom domain; Business adds the REST API, 10 custom domains and priority support. Teammates never cost extra.

Typeform pricing pageBuilding feels like writing a doc
Typeform's builder centres on one question per screen, and that's what respondents see too. It's lovely for short, friendly surveys. HornetForms opens a blank page and you type. Press / to add any question or content block, and the form reads top to bottom like a page. Split it into pages when you want, theme it with presets and 21 fonts, and embed it inline, as a popup or as a full page. Want one question per screen instead? Pick the "One question at a time" layout, on every plan, Free included. It shows one question at a time within each page, and logic and page breaks work the same.
The features that matter most
Both tools do conditional logic, file uploads and integrations. The difference is which plan they sit on: in HornetForms, logic, uploads, signatures, scheduling with Calendly or Cal.com, and the Google Sheets, Slack, Discord, Notion and Zapier integrations are all on the Free plan. Both take payments in forms through Stripe. In HornetForms you add a Payment block on any plan, connect your own Stripe account and keep the money. HornetForms adds no fee of its own; Stripe's processing fees apply.
When Typeform is the better pick
- You want Typeform's exact look and polish. We have a one-question-at-a-time layout too, but Typeform builds its whole product around that style.
HornetForms vs Typeform questions
Is HornetForms a free Typeform alternative?
Yes. The Free plan is free forever, with unlimited forms and responses, logic, uploads, signatures and integrations. Pro ($29/mo) and Business ($89/mo) add branding, custom domains, the API and more.
Can I import my forms from Typeform?
Yes. Paste a public Typeform link into the importer. You'll see a preview of the form rebuilt in HornetForms, with a list of anything that couldn't come across, before you sign up and save it.
Does HornetForms have the one-question-at-a-time layout?
Yes. Every plan, Free included, has a "One question at a time" layout. It shows one question at a time within each page, and logic and page breaks work the same. Typeform builds its whole product around this style, so if you want Typeform's exact look, Typeform is the pick.
Do I need to pay for more responses?
No. Responses are unlimited on every plan, within fair use, and we never charge for volume. The only metered thing is AI form generation: 3 a month on Free, 30 on Pro and 100 on Business, with optional credit packs.
Bring your forms. Leave the meter.
